Ravi Ragoonanan, aged 43, passed away on November 17, 2024, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Born on December 8, 1980, Ravi, affectionately known by his family as Dale, dedicated 23 years of his life serving as a Deputy Sheriff for Manatee County, a role he upheld with honor and integrity from 2001 until his passing.
Ravi was a graduate of Barrackpore Junior and Senior Secondary School and furthered his education at Manatee Technical College, equipping him with the skills that would later define his esteemed career in law enforcement.
Known for his loyalty and loving nature, Ravi was a man who would go to the ends of the earth to help those closest to him. He cherished his time at home with his beloved girlfriend, Jordan Weinert, and their 10-month-old daughter, Ryann. His passion for cars, especially detailing them, was a well-known hobby among his friends and family.
Ravi leaves behind his girlfriend, Jordan Weinert, and their daughter, Ryann; his brother Anan Ragoonanan and sister-in-law Lisa Ragoonanan; nephew Alan Ragoonanan; brother Adesh Renny Ragoonanan and sister-in-law Darlene Ragoonanan; nephew Darren Ragoonanan; and sister-in-law Jerilynne Ragoonanan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boochoon and Indra Ragoonanan, and twin brothers Brian and David Ragoonanan.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Ravi on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Bayside Community Church, 15800 State Road 64, Bradenton, FL 34212. The family invites all who knew and loved Ravi to join in celebrating his remarkable life and contributions.
