Reginald "Dinky" Belvin was born on July 31,1970, in Bradenton, Florida to the late Illinois Williams and Ernest "Boe" Belvin.

Reggie was educated in the Manatee and Sarasota County school system. He graduated as a proud Sailor at Sarasota High School. During his time at Sarasota High, he was in ROTC, the rifle team, weightlifting team, and wrestling team. He went on to receive his associate degree.

He was honored to serve his country in the Marine Corps before becoming a Deputy Sheriff at the Manatee Sheriff Department in Bradenton for 20 years.

He was an amazing father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and partner. Anyone who knew him knew his love of music, shooting, comic books/superheroes, martial arts, and video games. He will be deeply missed by his family, partner, and friends whose lives he touched with his generosity, sense of humor, and caring nature. He was always willing to put others before himself.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Illinois Williams; father, Ernest "Boe" Belvin; brother, Corie D. Randall; along with other precious loved ones.

Reggie is survived by his daughter, Regina Belvin; fiancée, Terri Sarkowski; stepmother, Lottie (Betty) Belvin; siblings, Tuella (Detaurius) Clayton, Broderick(Dursilla) Belvin, Sr., Desmin (Tamara) Belvin,Sr., Ziron (Latoya) Belvin, Sr., Ernisha L. Belvin, Dontray T. Belvin, Sr., Dondray D. Belvin, Sr., and Joseph Randall, Jr.; auntie, Lee Catherine Williams; uncles, Robert Williams and Johnny Williams, Sr.; cousins/brothers, Chaddick D. Williams, Jimmy Bell Jr., Luther Singleton, and Zeze Singleton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
