Richard A. Pfister, 79, passed away in Bradenton, Florida. He was born November 19, 1944.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Amy Pfister, and two sons, Raymond Gogarty and Christopher Gogarty, as well as 8 grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley, Kaitlin, Jake, Hope, Ryan, Gabriella and Nicholas.
Richard served in the United States Army from 1967-1969. Upon his return home from military service, he graduated from college with a degree in engineering. He had an illustrious career with Cablevision, where he held many titles and retired as the Director of Engineering after 37 years of loyal service.
He loved traveling, fine dining, and going to the movies with his beloved wife, Ann. When Richard was not traveling the globe, he could be found relaxing in the comfort of his recliner, enjoying a soccer match or his favorite shows. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a quiet man who loved the life he built for his family.
A Graveside Service with honors will be 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207, is in charge of arrangements.
