Richard Gene Toby of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 90.
He was born on July 6, 1932, in Lafayette, Indiana to Edward W. and Ida (Perdue) Toby.
Richard graduated from Montmorceni High School in 1950 where he played basketball.
He retired from banking after 46 years working as branch manager and specializing in commercial and residential lending.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ida; his wife of 70 years, Anna; a son, Steven; brothers, Edward "Eddie", David and Donald, and a grandson, Andrew D. Bruce.
Richard is survived by a son, Gary Toby of Cornelia, GA; daughters, Debbie Edenfield (Darrell) of Homer, GA, Ronda Albritton (Lyle) of Parrish, FL and Angela Porter of Bradenton, FL; a brother, Daniel Toby of Lafayette, IN; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
