Bradenton, Florida - Richard Michael Kane, 85, of Bradenton, Florida died on September 24 after a short illness.
Born in Mt. Holly, NJ and raised in Maple Shade, NJ. he was a retired construction worker from GTE of Florida and a US Marine Corps veteran from 1957 – 1960.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Holbrook Kane, Bradenton, FL; three sons, Michael (Chiharu) Kane Spring Valley, CA; Matthew (Jessica) Kane, Bradenton, FL; Timothy Kane, St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Patricia Kane Nolan of Maple Shade, NJ and three nephews (Dennis, Thomas, and Patrick Nolan) all of New Jersey. He is also survived by a grandson; Christopher Kane, Holly Ridge, NC; a granddaughter, Makinley Nicole Kane, Bradenton, FL and two step-granddaughters, Rylee Hinkle and Baylee Hinkle of Bradenton. Richard was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Ann Kane and a brother, Patrick.
Visitation will be held October 11 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave. E., Ellenton, 34222.
