Rick S. Blumberg, 67, died unexpectedly January 14, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born July 14, 1956, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Ronald Blumberg (Alyse) and Savada Bell Blumberg.
Rick graduated from Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, FL. He proudly celebrated 32 years as an International Project manager with DSV Global Transport & Logistics.
He married his wife, Sherie Kreci Blumberg in 2004, and they settled happily in Marietta, GA. They later moved to the place they called "Paradise" in 2014. Bradenton, Fl. They celebrated 14 loving years of marriage in September of 2023.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Vicki Yvette Blumberg. He is survived by his wife, Sherie; daughter, Heather Adams (Jason); two grandchildren, Haley and Austin and great grandson, Hunter. His brother-in-law, Larry Muratore; two nephews, Nick and Alex of Georgia. Half-brother, Jimmy Benson of Dothan, AL, and stepbrothers, David (Donna) Walens and Gary Walens; stepsister, Susan Walens; his beloved, Barbara Elkins (Auntie B) of Winder, GA.
Rick enjoyed a very close relationship with his "Second Family" Tony, Sharon, Brianna and Mackenzie Kreci. Kim and Warren Peterson. Andrew, Kerry, Ben and Wee Andrew Peterson. Chewy, Stephanie, Alex, Russ, and Sophia, Peterson. Jessica Peterson, Justine and Adrian.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Atlanta, GA, and in Bradenton, FL, to be announced at a later date.
