Rita E. Dralus, 80, of Bradenton, Fl., went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2022, surrounded by the love of her daughters.
She was born in New York and lived in Connecticut until moving to Bradenton, Florida in 1978. She retired from the Citizen's Action Center with Manatee County Government in 2002. She was active in many organizations, Pilot Club, Meals on Wheels and her churches for many years.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald; her two brothers, James Bell and Robert Bell; her parents, Mary Bell (Murray) and Vincent Bell and her close friend, Roger Horien.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Mathis (Dralus) and Wendy L Dralus of Seattle; her son-in-law, Clayton Mathis; five grandchildren, Paul, Andrew, Kyle, Faith and Dustin Mathis; 2 great-grandchildren, Sara and Waylon and sister, Mary Lou Strano (Bell).
Visitation will be 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with Services to follow at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
