Robert Lee Williams, aka Bobby, was born October 15, 1956 in Rochester, New York to the late Ivan Williams and the late Ida Bell Green Washington (Eddie "Bunk" Washington). Robert accepted Christ at an early age and was raised in a Baptist Church under the pastoralship of Rev. S.D Pollard. He's a graduate of Manatee High School and earned his Technical Degree at Eastman Kodak in Tampa, FL, where he became a Technician.
Robert will always be remembered by his smiles, laughter and dancing skills, as well as being known as DJ Buddy Ray's Daddy (Woo). If you knew Robert, you know his favorite football teams were the Florida Gators and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is preceded in death by his son Keyon Williams and siblings, Jerry Williams, Roslyn Diane Sumpter and Benjamin McClern.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his son Shunard Williams Sr. (Shawn) and daughter Tameka Williams; eight grandchildren: Lindsey Williams, Ja'Quez Patton, Jai'Myla Reddick, Khala Williams, Keona Williams, Kiyyon Williams, Shunard Williams Jr., Ja'Shari Williams Toussaint; two great grands: Anahlise Reddick, and Azaylah Reddick, siblings: Lorenzo McNeil(Linda), Ronald Sumpter(Cynthia), Raymond McClern, Daren Washington, Gwen Williams, and Velma Mooney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and two best friends Reggie and Cynthia Butler Taggert.
