ROCCO CARMINE BOCCUZZI, 85, a native resident of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29th, at Bradenton Hospice House in Bradenton, FL. Born on August 15, 1938 in San Mango sul Calore, Italy, he travelled to the US in 1957. Rocco spent many years as a mechanic at Clairol before retiring. He married the love of his life, Donna, in 1962 and they remained happily married until her passing in 2012.

Rocco was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Modestina, his wife, Donna T. Boccuzzi, 3 brothers (Antonio, Teodoro and Domenick) and 2 sisters (Gaetanina Coppola and Marie Saliba). He is survived by his beloved daughter, Rose Dahn, her husband, Edward Dahn, and their children, Edward Jr., and Alexa in Parrish, FL; his beloved daughter, Michelle Vitucci, her husband, Frank Vitucci, and their children, Avery, Peyton, Dylan and Sydney in Trumbull, CT. He is also survived by his two sisters, Giselda Boccuzzi of Stamford, CT, Gabriella Boccuzzi of Rome, Italy; and several very special nieces and nephews.

His cremation will be handled by The Good Earth Crematory of Palmetto, FL, and a memorial service will be held at a later time, TBA, in Stamford, CT, for family and friends. Contributions in memory of Rocco, in honor of his granddaughter, Alexa Dahn, may be made to the National Down Syndrome Society, or in honor of his granddaughter, Dylan Vitucci, to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.
