Rock Hall of Fame Returns to Planetarium Saturday

Posted

BRADENTON – It’s time for the Rock Hall of Fame show at the Bishop Planetarium! On the first Saturday of each month, the South Florida Museum puts on a captivating 45-minute show, featuring computer-generated animations set to rock music in its recently-upgraded, state-of-the-art planetarium, featuring the new Digistar 5 Dual-Projection System.

This show starts at 8:15 pm. After 4 p.m., entrance is $8 adults/$7 seniors (65+)/$6 kids (4-12). Shows are included in entrance fee, so you can arrive early and experience the museum prior to the show.

The new system improves the viewer experience of the Museum’s expanding full-dome show library with projectors that are more than three times as bright and twelve times crisper (higher contrast) than the previous projectors. The planetarium also has a top of the line sound system, making for a total audio/visual experience.
