Rose Mary Jonas, 77 of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on 10/24/2024. Born as Rose Mary Heffel on December 14th 1946 to Bonnie & Chester Heffel, in Baraboo, WI.
Rose was a mother, a grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She loved flowers, animals, spending time with family and watching home improvement shows in her free time.
Rose was survived by her 5 children, Lora Jonas, Jimmy Horton (Fran), Calvin Horton (Kelli), Kenny Horton & Michael Jonas. 8 Grandchildren who called her Nana, Amanda, Kelsea, Junior, Chris, Melissa, C.J., Brett, Skylee and 9 great-grandchildren. Let's not forget to mention her partner in crime and dear friend Judy Spicer, who she shared many memories and laughter with through the years. It was a friendship like no other. Rose also had a lot of extended family and grandchildren. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
