Rudolph O. "Pete" Rovnan, 94 of Saxonburg passed away on September 17, 2024 at The Addison of Logan Place.
Born December 26, 1929 in Tarentum, PA, he was the son of Peter Rovnan and Stefania (Gjaso) Rovnan.
He worked as a Mechanic for Penn Auto Parts. Then later in life he was part owner of Vogel and Rovnan Auto Parts in Tarentum. Growing up he enjoyed helping his dad on the family farm in Sarver. He enjoyed boating and traveling to his winter residence in Florida. He was a life member of Saxonburg Fireman Club. He was also a member of St. Francis of Assai church in Cabot.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Sue(Driscoll)Rovnan, Two brothers Milian and Joseph. Two sisters Martha Haas and Mary Rovnan.
Friends will be received from Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10:30 am at St Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church in Cabot with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.
