Mr. Russell G Baker, age 81 of Bradenton, FL, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025.The family is deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden passing.
Russell is survived by his wife of 13 years, Charlene Baker, two sons Steven &
Russell and wife Michell and two daughters, Tracy, Sandi, and husband Johnny, and three grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, and Raylee. Stepsons Kirk and Karl, and stepdaughter Marsha and six grandchildren.
He was a wonderful father and loving husband who will truly be missed. He served in the Air Force after graduation. He was a Quality Control Manager at Atlantic Concrete, retiring after 44+ years of dedicated service. Every year, he would celebrate Christmas in his development, decorating with tons of lights and Christmas figures, enjoying his favorite holiday. He loved to fish, and after his retirement, he spent time on his boat, “treasure hunting” on the beach, taking care of his wife, enjoying time at the beach & having breakfast at their favorite place.
A celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, May 3rd, 10am at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2929 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34239, with reception to follow at the daughter's residence.
