On July 1, 2026, Ruth Lesniak, age 84, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving husband, Eugene, and her family.
Ruth was born on December 4, 1941, in Gary, Indiana, to Margaret Hudson and Edward White. She grew up with a caring heart and a strong faith that would guide her throughout her life.
Ruth was first married to Robert Beach, and together they were blessed with five children: Bobby Beach, Edward Beach, Barbara Beach (Dwayne Powers), Katherine Beach Brazier, and Annette Beach (Robin Richards). Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was an incredibly loving and devoted mother, but becoming a grandmother was one of her life's greatest blessings.
Ruth was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren: Dustin, Beth, Justin, Nicole, Melissa, Mary, Stephanie, Chad, Kim, T.J., Tom, Stacy, and Lisa. She loved every one of her grandchildren with all her heart. They were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Whether celebrating holidays, baking treats, sharing stories, or simply spending time together, Ruth made each grandchild feel deeply loved and special. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, whom she adored just as dearly.
Ruth was fortunate to witness five generations of her family, sharing that incredible blessing with her daughter Barb, her granddaughter Melissa, her great-grandson Dakota, and Dakota's four children: Sean, Derrick, Ryker, and Romyn. Seeing her family grow through the generations brought her immeasurable happiness and pride.
Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Beach, and her beloved sons, Bobby Beach and Edward Beach.
Later in life, Ruth found love again when she met Eugene Lesniak. They were married on October 29, 2005, and shared a wonderful life together built on love, faith, and companionship. Through their marriage, Ruth gained three cherished stepdaughters—Lisa, Rachel, and Erica—and lovingly embraced their children as part of her growing family.
Ruth was a true believer in Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she faithfully lived for the Lord while lovingly caring for her husband and family. She had a generous spirit, a kind heart, and always put others before herself.
She loved making a house into a home. Ruth was an avid decorator who enjoyed rearranging and refreshing her home, creating a warm and welcoming place for family gatherings. She was also an excellent baker whose homemade treats brought smiles to everyone fortunate enough to enjoy them.
Although her family grieves her loss, they find comfort knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her love, kindness, unwavering faith, and the countless memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the generations she treasured so deeply.
**Psalm 23:1–6**
*"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."*
