BRADENTON - Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School recently cut the ribbon for its all-new Falcon Field House at an open house. The project is the last phase of the Moore Athletic Complex at Turner Fields.

With approximately 2,000 square feet of weight room area, a training room, whirlpool and hot tubs rooms, a football locker room, boys’ and girls’ showers, coaches’ offices and a laundry room, the 7,000 sq-ft building is a welcome addition to the campus.

"This is an exciting day for our school with the opening of our new state-of-the-art field house which will provide our student athletes with training facilities and locker rooms that will mirror the first class fields, stadium and track which were just completed in the fall,” said Hugh Miller, Board President at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School.

The Field House wraps up the $5 million campaign that began with fundraising and construction of the state-of-the-art athletic facility, which hosts events including Football, Track & Field, Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Cheerleading on the Saint Stephen’s campus.

“The new Falcon Field House is the “icing on the cake” to our new Moore Athletic Complex at Turner Fields," said Dr. Jan Pullen, Head of School at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School. "We are thrilled to be opening this state-of-the-art weight room and training facility which also includes boys’ and girls’ locker and showers. Our student-athletes will be able to have great sports conditioning and care in this wonderful space. Thanks to the board and those in the Saint Stephen’s community that made this latest facility a reality.
