Sandra Wilbanks Stamey, 83, passed away on May 25, 2024, on the date of her birth 1941 in Bradenton, Florida to the late John Van Wilbanks and Gloria Jane (Sanders) Wilbanks.

Upon graduation from Sarasota High School, Sandra headed off to University of Florida her first year and graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, SC. She married Milton Louis Eliades and began her life as an Army Officer's wife living all over the United States and abroad. She was a life long member of the Sara-de-Soto chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a second generation Rotarian. Sandra served as an accountant for a law office, a Thai import/export company and, upon her return to Sarasota and her family's manufactured home park. She enjoyed traveling, golf and birdwatching and viewing her dogs entertain the wildlife that came to visit her back yard.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Carolyn Eliades; son Alexander Eliades; grandchildren Graham Eliades and Alaina Eliades; her sister Joy Bouverat; nephews Randy and Beau Bouverat and Wesley Wilbanks; and nieces Kari and Karli Wilbanks. Preceded in death by her parents John Van Wilbanks, Gloria Sanders Slaughter, her step-father, Milton Louis Eliades and her brother John Henry Wilbanks.
There will be a graveside service at Manasota Memorial Park at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Tidewell Hospice, Rotary
