Bradenton, Florida - Sara (Sally) P. Gaddy, aged 81, passed away peacefully in the presence of her children, grandchildren, and sister on February 13, 2024 in Bradenton, FL. She was born on September 25, 1942, in St. Louis, MO, to John (Jack) and Elizabeth (Betty) Pritchett.
She was a resident of Bradenton for over 37 years and loved spending her summers in Ludington, MI, throughout her entire life. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was devoted to her family. Her loyalty to those she loved was beyond measure.
In addition, Sally loved to be by the water, whether it was sitting on the pier at her cottage on Hamlin Lake, jumping in the boat to ride to the sand dunes, heading out to Anna Maria Island for a day at the beach, snorkeling in the Keys with the dolphins, or cruising to the Bahamas, Mexico, or Hawaii. Sally always had a smile to share with others and had a way of making everyone feel special. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles R. Gaddy, son, Keith B. Gaddy, daughter, Elizabeth Ryan (Jeff) Benge, granddaughters, Nicole M. (Chris) Couture and Rachael E. Gaddy, sister, Ellen P. Valenz. Sally was a favorite in-law and aunt as well. She will be honored by her family in a small, private ceremony.
