Sarasota Opera Food & Wine Festival Returns September 27

SARASOTA — Sarasota Opera’s Food & Wine Festival returns on Saturday, September 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on stage at the Sarasota Opera House. This festive community event brings together local restaurants, wineries, and artisan vendors to serve up an afternoon of culinary delights, music, and dancing in support of Sarasota Opera Youth Opera.

Throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy food and wine samples on stage from beloved Sarasota establishments, live performances by the Sarasota Youth Opera chorus, and raffle prizes including gift cards, local experiences, and tickets to upcoming opera performances.

In addition to annual favorite vendors, such as 99 Bottles, Michaels on East, Rose & Ivy, Jack Dusty, Wolfie’s, and Sage, patrons this year will be able to sample selections from new vendors, including The Fat Rabbit and Bistro, from the Ringling Art Museum. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. 

General admission is $75 in advance or $85 at the door. An exclusive VIP experience offering early entry at 12:15 p.m., reserved seating, and enhanced tastings is available for $150 per person.  All proceeds from the event support Sarasota Youth Opera and its nationally recognized education programs, which provide musical and theatrical training to young people in the community.
