Saturday's Marauders, Mets Game to be Doubleheader After Friday Game Postponed

BRADENTON – Friday’s game between the Bradenton Marauders and the St. Lucie Mets was postponed due to persistent heavy rainfall. The game will be made up as a doubleheader consisting of two seven inning games today. Game one will start at 5:00 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Game two will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Tickets from the postponed game may be exchanged for a ticket to any remaining Bradenton Marauders home game in 2014 excluding the Florida State League All-Star Game at the McKechnie Field ticket office. The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-gamedays Tuesday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On gamedays the ticket office is open from noon until the conclusion of the game. Island Night presented by LaPensee Plumbing and Pools and the corresponding Free Shirt Friday t-shirt giveaway have been rescheduled for Thursday, May 22. The Marauders host the Daytona Cubs at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The first 500 fans will receive a free Island Night t-shirt. The game is also a Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser and Ticket Sarasota.
