BRADENTON--The State College of Florida Manatees suffered their third consecutive loss dropping a 76-74 decision to Lee College, TX Wednesday night at Hal Chasey Gym.
Markee Teal lead the Manatees in scoring with 17 points and pulled down10 rebounds.
SCF (1-3) had a chance to win with nine seconds remaining in the game and trailing by one point, but Shane Moreland was unable to inbound the ball and got called for a five-second violation. A last second shot by Mike Grinage caromed off the basket and Lee College (3-0) held on for the two point victory.
Manatees Freshman Odi Onyekachuckwu scored 10 points and blocked four shots. John Miller and Mike Grinage also chipped in with 10 points each while Shane Moreland added 9. SCF missed nine free throws going just 17 of 28 from the charity stripe.
SCF hosts Florida State College at Jacksonville Saturday afternoon in a 4 p.m. tip-off at Hal Chasey Gym.
