BRADENTON-- The Manatee County School Board moved to approve, 3-2 with Julie Aranibar and Karen Carpenter dissenting, the tentative budget with the option to implement the supplemental millage rate hike if they feel they need to adopt it to make up for a $15 million dollar shortfall facing the district. On Sept. 8, 2011 they will vote to officially adopt it.
