Several Awards and Recognitions Top Tomorrow's Manatee BOCC Meeting

BRADENTON -- Manatee County Commissioners will meet tomorrow for a scheduled meeting at the administration building downtown, where they will give out a number of civic awards including employee of the month, which will go to Billy Mason, a traffic control tech in the public works department.

 

The Heroism Award will be presented to Richard Garst, a Probation Officer in the community services department and the Safety Award will be given to Patricia Adams, a transit operator, also in public works.

 

Among other business, the commission will vote on an agreement with The Bible Baptist Church of Bradenton for operation and maintenance of the Community Center Building at John H. Marble Park and authorization of a golf course franchise license agreement with Pope Golf, LLC.
