Sherree Jean Lydia Petrillo, affectionately known as Momma Jo, will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her warm smile and loving nature. Born on September 4, 1954, to Robert and Hazel West of Harrisville, Pennsylvania, she was a beloved sister to Terry, Herb, Bill, and Becky.
After proudly serving in the United States Navy, Sherree pursued a career as a chef and later retired from Grove City College. In 2015, she settled in Bradenton, Florida, where she enjoyed the sunny weather, beautiful beaches, family and friends.
A devoted mother to her three sons, Andrew, Robert and James and beloved daughter-in-law, Melissa and son-in-law, Danilo. Sherree found joy in chair yoga, swimming, cooking for her family, her grand pets and travel. She had a special love for the ocean and her community at Oakwood Villa's.
Sherree's kind and compassionate heart touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
A Celebration of Life is going to be held on July 28, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm, at Oakwood Villas Club House: 5050 Live Oak Circle, Bradenton, Florida, 34207.
