Bradenton, Florida - Sherry June Fuller Bellino "Mumzy", 85, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and an encourager of epic proportions. She was a friend to all. Earning a bachelor's degree in biology, she loved all things science. Sherry played Bridge with her dear friends and that was a constant source of fun for her. Being actively involved in the Jessie P. Miller and Palma Sola Elementary Schools PTA, The Manatee County Service Club, and Entre Nous were community involvements that she held dear. She would become the president of each of these organizations where she served with distinction.

Born in Panama City, FL, in 1939 to Lawrence Ray Fuller and Mildred Viola Cox, Sherry enjoyed a wonderful upbringing on and near the water, spending many days clamming and scalloping with her cousin, Beverly Beck Carothers, in the bay. In 1970, Sherry moved to Bradenton with her husband, Dr. Robert J. Bellino and daughters, Karen and Dara, to start his medical practice in Perrine Plaza on Main Street. Sherry managed Dr. Bellino's practice from the start and maintained a presence there for fifty-three years.

Sherry is survived by her adoring husband of 62 years, Robert John Bellino; sister, Ina Fuller Hoover of Suwanee Georgia; daughters, Karen Bellino (Bret Swain) of Bradenton, Dara Grubbs (Joshua), three cherished grandsons: Alexander (24), Nicholas (22), and Victor (19) of Myakka City; and sister-in-law, Patty Fuller of Panama City, Florida. Sherry's parents and brother, James Walden Fuller (Patty Fuller), predeceased her.

Sherry was an inspiration to many, and she was very dear to all who knew her. She exuded love in all its many forms. Quickly getting to genuinely know people was one of her best assets. When in her company, you felt her warmth and kindness. Sherry welcomed all people into her home with a cheerful embrace and southern hospitality. Always ready for a tea party, she enjoyed hosting friends in her home. Her daughters are particularly grateful that she passed on her quintessential graciousness and charm to them. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family would like to particularly thank the Drs. Jim, Tom, and Joe Ganey for their many years of excellent medical care for Sherry. Dr. Joe Ganey was especially helpful to Sherry in her last years and days on earth. We thank him for his excellent care and concern for her wellbeing. The family would also like to thank the excellent and caring medical team at Westminster Point Pleasant, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, and Manatee Memorial Hospital, specifically Victor T. in ICU, Alexis in Oncology, and Grace in PCU, and the many doctors, nurses and technicians that provided exceptional care during her stay there. Additionally, we are grateful for dear friends Andrea and Sandy for keeping vigil on Sherry's final days, and for Sherry's son-in-love for his abiding love and for keeping vigil on her last day on earth.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, with a short service directly following at 6 PM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
