BRADENTON — Talha "Tal" Siddique easily defeated former MCSO Deputy April Culbreath by a 22-point margin to win Tuesday's D3 Republican Primary.
Siddique was facing a developer-backed candidate and an expensive onslaught of attack ads from dark-money PACs that falsely alleged he had misrepresented his associations with the Air Force and the Department of Homeland Security and that he and his wife had ties to the Clintons.
Siddique, who was endorsed by The Bradenton Times, will now face Democrat Diana Shoemaker, former president and CEO of Manatee Habitat for Humanity, in the November election.

Tal is a hardworking candidate and supports many community issues. But his strong support for Trump the felon, cheat and liar is troubling.

We so desperately need someone with a moral compass back in that district. Don't let the people down.

WTF
Tal worked his District with a lot of interaction with his voters including door knocking, phone call, town hall meetings and other events. A true boots on the ground grass roots effect for the win …. Well Done !

This particular election was well wone. April has abused the county and people not on her side for too long. She abused her position as an MSCO deputy. She abused her position as a "friend" who eventually wrecked a woman with 3 children's marriage. She abused her authority. She abuses her position with the MREC. If only lost elections led to geographical banishment.
