South Side of Causeway Beach Reopens

The south side of the Palma Sola Causeway beach in the City of Bradenton has been reopened to swimmers.

Extensive water testing has revealed that the water has returned to normal following a sewage main break.

This beach has been closed since April 13 due to high levels of bacteria in the water. It was also closed from February 22 to March 1.
