Spotlight on Education: Haile Middle Wins Robotics Competition

BRADENTON – Haile Middle School’s VEX Robotic Team 2711 recently won an area robotics competition that included both middle school and high school teams. The Haile Middle School team of Lincoln Benidicto, Brantley Deines and Michael Kisada won the “Tampa Prep Throwdown” with an amazing match record of 7-1.

Team 2711’s fourth member, Patrick Downing, was unable to attend the meet in Tampa.The victory earned the Haile Middle VEX squad a place in the Florida VEX Robotics State Championship Competition to be held at the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
