St. Petersburg Defeats SCF Manatees 92-78 Saturday In Suncoast Conference Tilt

ST. PETERSBURG--One week ago, the SCF Manatees defeated St. Petersburg College on a last second three-point shot by Derrek Robbins. On Saturday night, the Titans avenged that loss with a convincing 92-78 Suncoast Conference victory over SCF in St. Petersburg.

Jonathan Miller led the Manatees with 18 points while Derek Robbins scored 15, including a trio of three-point shots. Markee Teal scored 14 points and had 9 rebounds and Shane Moreland chipped in with 12 points.

The Manatees (8-10, 2-2) are tied with St. Petersburg for second place in the Suncoast Conference standings. Polk State College leads with a 3-1 conference record.

SCF faces another conference opponent Wednesday night at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa in a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
