Palmetto, Florida - Stephen C. Pauley, 73, of Palmetto, FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 12, 2023.
Son of the late Geraldine and William D. Pauley. Steve was born in St. Albans WV. Graduated from St. Albans High School Class of 1968. Moved between West Virginia and Florida several times during his school years.
Steve retired from the convenience store chain, Go-Mart with 26 years of service; as an Area Supervisor covering parts of WV and KY. He was instrumental in several new store openings and growing company profits throughout his years of service.
Steve had a talent for music and in his younger years played guitar in The Marquis band when he lived in WV.
After retirement Steve enjoyed living in Palmetto FL, and spending time with his Florida family. Steve had a thankful spirit and was a devoted husband. With a wonderful sense of humor and a strong work ethic, always working on home projects. Steve attended First Baptist Church Parrish.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Holley. Preceded by his son Stephen P. Wade and younger brother William D. Pauley II.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11:00am in Manasota Memorial Park 1221 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, Fl 34203
