Stephen Leroy Apgar, 81, passed away September 3, 2023. He was born April 30, 1942 in Washington DC to the late Herbert and Eileen (Forsman) Apgar.
Stephen came to Bradenton in 1990 from Fairfax, Virginia and was a member of River Life Church. He retired as a land developer and was an amazing handyman. He enjoyed building and fixing things and golfed with his buddies 3 times a week.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years Kay; son David Yohn and his wife Joy; daughters Lisa Thornley and her husband Mark; and Jennifer Cosgrove and her husband Shawn; grandchildren Camryn, Christian and Joshua Yohn; Kaitlinn and Sydney Thornley; and Anthony and Kristina Cosgrove.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased 2 years ago by his brother Richard Apgar.
