Stephen Joseph Urban passed away suddenly on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the hospital. His life began February 3,1969 in Sarasota, to parents Clarence Urban and Gloria Shymanski Urban. He was always best friends and playmates with his brothers, Brian, Aaron, and Michael.

He attended schools in Bradenton, Daughtry, Oneco, Harlee and Southeast. At the age of 15 he contently worked at arcade lithographing as an estimator until 2012. Afterwards he was a talented handyman.

His respect for all and social skills led to a life of many friends and family near and far. He loved his nieces and nephew. Stephen had so many happy points in his life, the best of which were his families. He had a marriage to Stacy, a marriage to Jill, and a girlfriend Jennifer. Due to these happy times came the utmost best part of life---4 babies (complete focus of his life).Sons Carson (22), Ethan (21), daughters Victoria (17) and Laurel (12). He was a devoted dad and best friend to them. He also loved and nourished Connor and Elizabeth (20) who were as his own. At times 5-6 little ones created lots of activity in the house and car. The things he enjoyed most were fishing, sporty cars, diving, eating out, foods, being with family and friends (some from kindergarten), holidays, pets, tv. Stephen would drop everything to help anyone, especially mom, dad and gram shymanski. He wrote beautiful cards and gave meaningful gifts. He was like a big huggable teddy bear with a big heart. He kneeled when praying and was devoted to Jesus. He was dear friends with his special cousins and had many friends with memories galore. Fishing with his gramp, dad, brother, friends or kids brought laughter and joy. He took time for elderly people like grandparents, Val, and helping those in need. He was a chauffeur, yes, to school, appointments, sleepovers, shopping, skating, airport runs, trips to Miami, Orlando, Nokomis, Keys, and nursing home.

He was a boy scout, trumpet player, and great soccer goalie (Aaron followed in his footsteps). He loved to listen to music with Ethan and fix up a johnboat with Carson for family fun. Father/daughter dances were a must with Victoria and Laurel in Able Elementary, every year. Smiles greeted people endlessly from Steve (even after the loss of his brothers Brian and Michael, 4 grandparents, uncles, an aunt, a cousin and other special dear ones). After 3 floods at his home, he still had patience. Lots of music favorites but one for the kids, "You'll Be In My Heart "by Phil Colins from Tarzan, ---what great lyrics.

You, Stephen Urban will always be in our hearts forever, all of ours. Thank God for giving you to us.
