Born on July 4, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, Stephenie's life was a testament to her strength, grace, and profound love for her family and friends.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Stephenie earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Communications and International Relations in 1962. She furthered her education with Master's level studies in Finance at the University of Pittsburgh, equipping herself with a formidable intellect that she applied throughout her varied and successful career that spanned numerous industries including real estate and insurance.
Stephenie was predeceased by her beloved parents, Stephen and Ruth Kraft of Bradenton, Florida, and her siblings, Dr. George D. Kraft of Naperville, Illinois, and Ruth Woods of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by her niece, Ruth McPhearson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and her nephews Stephen, Mark, and Michael Kraft of Mount Airy, Maryland, Chicago, Illinois, and Kensington, Maryland, respectively, along with numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Stephenie was a gentle soul with a strong spirit, a woman whose quiet strength and deep faith guided her through life's challenges. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her wisdom and kindness left an indelible mark on those who knew her, and she was deeply loved by both family and friends.
Services to honor Stephenie's life were held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the caregivers at Braden River Rehabilitation in honor of their tireless care of Stephenie and others at the facility.
