Steven F. Lindenauer (Steve),65, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. Steve will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was devoted to his family and friends.
Steve inspired all who crossed his path by living an exemplary life, despite the setbacks he faced due to his physical limitations.
Steve was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 22, 1959. He developed a love for sports and music early on. He was a devoted fan of the NY Yankees but loved to play basketball.
At the early age of 19, Steve's life was altered when he sustained a spinal cord injury as a result of an automobile accident. Despite the challenges he faced, Steve persevered, an example of his true fighting spirit.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Maxine. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lourdes "Lulu", his children, Gary Lindenauer and Rachel Roberts (Stephen Roberts) and his beautiful granddaughters, Leilani, Iris and Reagan, siblings Cathy Lindenauer (Bob Crispin) and Larry Lindenauer, in addition to all of his adoring family and friends.
He will forever be adored.
