Palm View Elementary School recently conducted an in-house field trip for kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
George Scott provided a glimpse into the history and life of trains in America. He set up an extensive model train display for the students to see the trains and replicas of community scenes such as a farm, a fire station, a school, a church and a county fair.
There were five different trains on display, ranging from a Civil War-era train to a sleek modern train.
