Is Manatee School of Arts & Sciences the Right Fit for Your Family?

Posted

Ever wonder if your child would thrive in a school dedicated to both the performing and visual arts, STEM classes, and a personalized approach? Students’ talent will be on display for their families and relatives at the Manatee School of Arts and Sciences (MSAS) annual Winter Showcase on Friday, December 15, starting at 12:30 pm.

MSAS is a free, public charter school with just over 100 students, that serves grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Every student participates in the Showcase, from singing to skits and dancing. This program is just one of the many extra activities the student body enjoys. Small classes, with a dedicated faculty, the school provides an alternative to students who benefit from a more personalized experience. Parents are encouraged to work with teachers to identify their child’s individual strengths.

According to Clinton Jones, MSAS Principal, “We enjoy a core group of teachers who have been at the school for multiple years and have developed relationships with our students and their families. We get to know our students, their backgrounds, and what is going on in their lives.”

“We are a small, family-oriented school, and hope to meet new families and students who are looking for a more personal alternative to some of the larger schools in the area. Many of our students’ parents attended our school, and the tradition continues.”

To arrange a tour of the school located at 3700 32nd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205, or for more information about MSAS, visit our school website, msasgeckos.org, or call 941.755.5012.
