Susan M. McDowell, 77, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Formerly a resident of Millbrook, NY, she was born on July 9, 1946, to the late Bert and Rita Mulder.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Terry Moriarty, and son-in-law Brenden Moriarty of Palmetto, FL. She is also survived by her three beloved grandsons, Shea Moriarty of Colorado Springs, CO, Logan Moriarty of Ruskin, FL, and Connor Moriarty of Parrish, FL. Additionally, she leaves behind three step-grandsons, Aiden and Evan McDowell, and Hunter Williamson.
Susan is remembered fondly by her sisters, Bernadette Rizzo and Rita Hill, and her brother, Robert Mulder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Susan was predeceased by her brothers, Eugene Mulder, J. Peter Mulder, her sister Joyce Annokkee, and her husband, Ronald McDowell.
Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Susan never met a stranger and will be cherished in the hearts of many loving friends.
Private services have been arranged to celebrate her life and legacy.
