BRADENTON -- The Manatee County Government Neighborhood Services Department and the Central Economic Development Center, Inc. (CEDC) are hosting a series of educational workshops for residents and businesses to learn about the Southwest County Improvement District just initiated by the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners. A meeting scheduled for this Tuesday at Ezra Café has been rescheduled to address a scheduling conflict.
The workshops seek to facilitate opportunities for commercial and residential neighborhoods to partner with the County to improve and revitalize area communities. The workshops will explain more about the new district and how to participate, as well as to help the county understand residents' neighborhood needs.
The meeting will now be held Wednesday August 27 at 5:30 pm at Ezra Café, 5629 Manatee Ave. West in Bradenton.
