Terry M. Tepe, 71, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida, following a battle with cancer. Terry was born on April 17, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Donald and Angie Tepe. Terry was one of three brothers who started the family business, Tepe Furniture and Upholstery. He took pride in serving customers in the Sarasota and Bradenton communities. Outside of his professional life, he enjoyed playing golf and traveling to South Bend for Notre Dame games. Terry was a devoted husband, loving father, proud papa, and cherished brother whose greatest joy came from the family he built and loved deeply. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering support he gave to those around him.
Terry is survived by the love of his life of 41 years, Maria Shelley Tepe; daughters, Joanna Miller (Simon Fairweatheher), Katelyn Potter (BJ), and Jenna Corey (Jonathan). Terry was Papa to Tyler Miller, Gilberto Fairweather, Clark Corey, Ella Potter, Olivia Corey, and Amelia Potter, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. He is survived by his siblings, Gregory Tepe (Candy), and Timothy Tepe (Sandy), both of Sarasota, and Beth Ann Keultjes (Joseph) of South Bend, Indiana along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
