OSPREY —
Tervis, the local, family-owned drinkware company founded in 1946, announced on Tuesday that JV2 Innovative Products has acquired the company and intends to build on the Tervis legacy through product, material, and manufacturing innovation.
Rogan Donelly, part of the Tervis founding family, will remain a minority owner, and Hosana Fieber, the current Tervis CEO, has agreed to assist with the transition before moving on to her next opportunity.
“This is a wonderful next step for this nearly 80-year-old brand to position it well for the future,” said Fieber. “JV2 making a strong investment in Tervis speaks to its well-established and beloved brand legacy and will solidify its place in the marketplace far into the future.”
JV2 Innovative Products, a Delaware Domestic Limited-Liability Company, filed on June 4, 2025, noted in a press release that it plans to retain the company name, while current stakeholders and partners will continue business as usual. The new ownership group plans to invest in a larger sales force with a renewed emphasis on product development.
“The entire Donelly family is extremely proud of Tervis’ legacy, and we are excited for the opportunity ahead given the renewed investment in the brand,” said Donelly. “This investment is exactly what is needed to position Tervis for success in its next 80 years.”
In the coming weeks, Tervis will appoint a new Chief Revenue Officer to lead the company’s strategy, focusing on innovation and growth.
Earlier this year, Tervis announced that it had exited Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with all litigation dismissed and its debt resolved. The reorganization took a little more than five months from its initial Chapter 11 announcement on September 6, 2024.
