Tesla to Open New Location at University Town Center

SARASOTA – Tesla, the electric vehicle company that made a big splash when it opened a showroom at the Mall at University Town Center in 2014, recently announced that it will build a two-story, 55,000-square-foot showroom and service center in the same commercial development.
Like the Mall at University Town Center, the project is being developed by Benderson Development. While there is no official opening date, Benderson projects that it will be completed sometime next year.
Earlier this year, the electric vehicle manufacturer also announced that it will open its first showroom in Pinellas County, a similarly-sized facility at a former Kane’s Furniture liquidation center in Lealman.
