Thanks for Helping Us Feed Empty Little Tummies

BRADENTON -- The Bradenton Times would like to thank all of you who helped us out in our food drive for the Elks' Feeding Empty Little Tummies charity. Through donations from readers and our christmas Eve Albertson's food drive, we were able to raise enough resources last week to feed five hungry Manatee Children every weekend for an entire school year! With 1,300 Manatee students lacking adequate food supplies outside the school lunch program, we've still got a long way to go, so stay tuned for more ways you can help in 2011 or go to the Elks' website here to make an online donation.
