Golf superstar and Bradenton native Nelly Korda is currently competing in the LPGA Drive On Championship at Bradenton Country Club.  Korda finished the first round an impressive six under par, crediting the "hometown support" for her impressive 65. The event continues through Sunday.

First Golf Memory: "I think it was at IMG. I first took lessons when I was six from Tracy Reiser. Pitching around the green with her. That's probably my first memory that's coming up right now."

Last Book Read: "It was some type of book that my mom made me read. Some athlete's book. I don't know what it was called."

First Famous Golfer You Met Or Encountered: "Probably Jack Nicklaus. I played nine holes with him at Bear's Club."

Greatest Career Moment (so far): "Finishing 10th at US Open this year. And qualifying for the LPGA."

Most Painful Moment: "Missing the US Open qualifier by one shot. Making bogey on the last hole. Three years ago."

Favorite Tournament: "Not really. I like them all. I really like the women's US Open actually."

Funniest Golfers Encountered: "I think it's my sister and I are pretty funny [laughs]."
