The Florida Neighborhoods Conference Comes to Manatee County

Posted

BRADENTON -- On July 11 - 13, Manatee County is hosting Florida's 17th Annual Florida Neighborhoods Conference at the Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto. This is the first time Manatee County has ever hosted the conference and coordinators are looking forward to making this event the most informative and productive conference in the organization's history.

The Florida Neighborhoods Conference, Inc. is an organization that dates back to 1996. It's founders, leaders from different Florida communities, wanted to bring their passion and networking together to address community needs and interest.

The conference will provide attendees with information on education and development issues that help to build a strong and healthy community environment. There will be opportunities to network for community services, training and grants that will provide help with neighborhood challenges.

Most of what presents opportunity for neighborhoods are actions applied locally, and the conference is designed to share economic, social and educational resources into one arena.

On Friday, June 12, there will be a Keynote Luncheon with Ken Feld, CEO of Feld Entertainment, Inc. Feld has recently relocated his operations to Ellenton, Fl. His entertainment empire: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney of Ice and Monster Jam, among other live entertainment productions.
