Thelma "TJ" Richards, 79, of Bradenton, FL, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on July 6, 1943, in Middletown, NY, the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Werkman) Terwilliger.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Fraser Richards; two brothers, James & William Terwilliger; sister, Sonya Price. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Lynn & Patrick Flanagan; Paula & Ben Pugliesi; three grandchildren, Ryan & Nicole Flanagan and Zoe Pugliesi and also several nieces and nephews.
Thelma worked in the banking industry for over 45 years. She loved a life of adventure bringing her to work in Colorado, Arizona, California, Michigan and finally retiring in Florida. Thelma was also a passionate dog lover and considered her canine companions to be members of her family.
Thelma requested her final resting place be with her late husband, Fraser in Colorado. Services will be held in Colorado at a later date. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
