Third Annual 'Bradenton Night with the Rays'

Posted

The Third Annual Bradenton Night with the Rays is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at Tropicana Field. The defending champions of the American League crown take on the Minnesota Twins at 4:10 p.m.

The Rays have given the City of Bradenton about 900 tickets to sell starting Monday, March 30. Seating is located in our traditional spot: The Party Deck, the upperdeck section in left field.

Tickets are $10 each and include the post-game concert, part of the Rays' Summer Night Concert series. The performer for the concert has not yet been announced.

Buy your tickets in person at Bradenton City Hall, 101 Old Main St. We accept cash (please, if you can, bring exact change) or checks made out to the City of Bradenton. City Hall is open 7:30-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The game starts at 4:10 p.m. - earlier than usual for a Saturday game - because FOX TV plans to broadcast the game nationally. The City will not host a tailgate party this year because of the early start.

Members of the Bradenton Honor Guard will present the colors prior to the singing of the National Anthem.

The Rays have hosted about 10 community nights every year for the past couple years. So far, the Bradenton community night has bought more tickets for each of the past two seasons. Let's go for three years in a row!

For more information, call Tim McCann, Bradenton Public Information Officer, at (941) 932-9497 or stop by City Hall.
