This Week in Local Government: 7/19/26

BRADENTON — Following a slight summer slowdown, things begin to pick up across local government calendars this week. The Palmetto City Commission will convene on Monday, followed by the Manatee School Board on Tuesday. The Bradenton City Council will hold meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, with Thursday dedicated to a budget workshop. The Manatee County Commission's summer recess officially ends on Friday, July 24, and their first meeting back is scheduled for next week.
