BRADENTON – The Manatee Council of Governments will hold one of their quarterly meetings on Monday. The Sarasota-Manatee MPO will also meet Monday morning, when it will hold a public hearing on several proposed amendments to its Transportation Improvement Program. During a workshop on Tuesday, the BOCC will hear a Housing and Urban Development report on its Community Development Block Grant/HOME Program. Tuesday evening, Manatee Schools Superintendent RIck Mills will meet with local residents at Miller Elementaryabout the proposal to sell surplus property owned by the school. The Bradenton City Council will convene for a workshop on Wednesday. A Thursday BOCC Land Use meeting will include a vote on approval of a map amendment for more than 32 acres for development.
