This Week in Local Government: December 16-20, 2013

BRADENTON – (Update: the Manatee School Board will hold a special workshop meeting on Wednesday afternoon.) On Monday, the Sarasota-Manateee MPO will have a public hearing on expansion of the Manatee's 15th Street East Project Development and Environment (PD&E). The Palmetto City Commission will hold a workshop and regular meeting later that day. Following last week's Planning Commission meeting, the BOCC on Tuesday will hold public hearings on major development changes to Creekwood. After a public hearing last month, the Bradenton City Council will vote on whether to approve an ordinance that would re-designate a property on 48th Street Court East from a county residential designation to a city residential. On Thursday morning, the Manatee Port Authority will convene.
