This Week in Local Government: February 3-7, 2014

BRADENTON – (UPDATE: Wednesday's Bradenton City Council workshop has been canceled.) The first week of February 2014 will be light in local government board meetings. The Palmetto City Commission will hold a workshop with a presentation on Sunshine and Public Records laws, followed by a regular meeting on Monday, which includes a motion to hold a public hearing on a personnel policy ordinance for February 3. The BOCC will convene for a Land Use meeting on Thursday, during which it will hold a public hearing for Phase 1 of the Long Bar Pointe development plan.
