This Week in Local Government: January 7-11

BRADENTON -- Local governments are getting back in swing this week. The Palmetto City Commission has its first meeting of 2013 on Monday night, while the Manatee BOCC has their first regular meeting of the year Tuesday. The Bradenton City Council will convene on Wednesday morning for their first meeting under their new board, which was sworn in last week. On Thursday, the Manatee Planning Commission will meet for the first time this year as well.
